This service is a diagnostic and design service for optimising warehouse layout, and maximising productivity, which we can provide in association with our warehouse partner.

How Does It Work?
Our partner would typically undertake a review of the existing warehouse design and processes, to better understand the potential scope of opportunities. They would then begin an exploration phase to gather data.
Once the data is validated and analysed, options can be generated and compared to the current operation. These options would be supported by detailed costings as requested, together with any layout plans, 3D layout views, animated fly through clips or simulations that are required. The costed options would then form the basis for recommendations to a business.

Our partner undertook data analysis and process mapping of existing sites, in order to scenario model test future space and throughput requirements. They used CLASS and CAD to develop high-level costing of facility. The proposed designs were adopted and used for the clients operation and were completed ahead of schedule.

Our partner was asked to recommend process improvements to produce an overall warehouse plan, to incorporate current activities and future business requirements. They were asked to provide a detailed layout for all current operations, including: multiple storage solution options covering: inbound, outbound, picking, despatch, rework, post-sales, returns and product refurbishment. The solution options provided for substantial growth projections and were supported with cost to service calculations. The design was implemented after they had also helped source a site.

Our partner was asked to increase throughput of a facility providing store deliveries.They undertook a process review looking at TAKT times linked to labour modelling. Scenarios for the facility layout were modelled using CLASS / CAD. They undertook a review of
