The new IMAGETEAM (IT) 4400 Image Reader is a hand held input device for reading and decoding two dimensional (20) symbologies.

Offering integrated support for Matrix, stacked linear and conventional linear barcodes, the IT4400 is designed for handheld 20 reading applications in a range of industries. The IT4400 has the power to capture and download images to a PC for applications, such as signature capture, OCR, and capturing text.

Lightweight, balanced and easy to use, the IT4400 can be used in repetitive, high volume hand scanning operations in even the most demanding environments. RS-232 output means the IT4400 can be integrated with all types of customer systems.

The IT4400 features integrated processing for a one-piece scanning solution. No additional boxes or electronics needed.

The video technology basis for the IT4400 means it can offer omni-directional scanning, even on linear codes, greatly simplifying operator training and increasing productivity.

Using the state-of-the-art binary optics, the IT4400 provides a view finder pattern for easy scan positioning.

Because the 1T4400 is a fixed focus device, two product models with different focal points are available, the IT4400LR and the IT4400HD.

The IT4400LR, designed for low and medium density codes, has a focal point of 5 inches from the nose.

It is ideal for transportation and distribution applications when long linear, Maxicode and PDF417 bar codes must be scanned.

The IT4400HD, designed for use in high density codes, has a focal point of 2 inches from the nose.

It is ideal for manufacturing and clinical applications where high density Data Matrix and Aztec codes must be scanned.
