The Complete Asset Tracking Solution

All limited companies must keep accurate records of assets. Similarly insurance companies require itemised details of all assets in order to process a claim. Now you can keep track of all your assets with ease. With EasyTrak asset software you can keep a database of all your assets and print a wide range of reports, including by asset, by location, and by date last checked.

Choose between Laptop Version (reduced package specifically for use with laptop computers) and Full Version (for use with desktop computers). Everything you need is in the box - user ID labels, room labels, asset labels, a bar code scanner to connect to your PC (to make it easy to build up your asset database), and a portable data terminal*, so you can track your assets whenever you like.

    Training time can be kept to a minimum. You can be fully conversant with the software in less than two hours. Using the supervisor mode you can protect accidental or unwanted access to your databases, leaving a simplified set of commands available to your operators.

    Build accountability into your system; keep records of who tracked your assets and when. Know exactly where your assets are (by room). Categorise your assets by supplier and model. Configure the assets database to suit your business. Be fully conversant with the software in less than two hours.

  • Comprehensive database reporting.
    View your data in an instant in a wide range of report formats:
    • User summary - list all assets scanned over a specified time scale, by user. The date and time of each scan is recorded.
    • Room summary - list all assets by room.
    • Assets Summary - a full details of all assets on the database, or a categorised list, selected by a wide range of different parameters.
    • Missing assets - list all assets that have not been tracked, detailing their expected location.
    • Scanned assets - list all assets tracked by each user.
    • Unscanned assets - list all assets by room that have yet to be tracked.
    • Overall system statistics - show summary details of total assets, rooms and users in the database.


  • Comprehensive exception reporting.
    You can quickly identify those assets that have not been scanned during an asset track, those that are missing or in the wrong location.

  • Multiple Database capability.
    Create different sets of databases for different types of assets, or different buildings, or different clients.

  • Portable data terminal included.
    Checking your assets is a quick and easy task. Just walk around scanning the asset labels, automatically storing data into the portable terminal. Download directly into your EasyTrak program any time you like. Over 6,000 assets can be scanned before the memory is full.

  • Docking station included.
    The docking station takes makes portable terminal communications and charging as easy as possible. Fast, intelligent battery charging keeps your terminal battery in good condition. Optical communications to your terminal makes data transfer easy and eliminates connector wear and tear. Communicating with the PC is no more difficult than placing the portable terminal in its cradle.

  • Spare data terminal battery included.
    You can keep fully operational at all times. Keep the spare battery fully charged in a spare slot in the docking station in case your main battery gets used (only after about 12 hours operation). Swap to the spare in seconds and continue from where you left off. No data will be lost.

  • Terminal configuration wizard.
    You can configure the data collection program on the portable terminal to suit your own requirements (using the CUSTOM menu option). This allows you to use it initially to add new assets to your database on the move, building it up quickly and accurately. It will only prompt for the information you require, all other data fields will be left blank. Ideal too for capturing additional data when checking your assets, such as a visual inspection.

  • Terminal synchronisation wizard.
    This makes portable terminal to PC communications as easy as possible. Once you have tracked your assets you can transfer data back to the PC with just two mouse clicks. The wizard will then provide scanning exception reports. Any unscanned assets can be identified in seconds. The portable terminal clock is automatically synchronised to the PC clock the same time. Updated application programs can be sent to the portable terminal with just two mouse clicks.

  • CCD scanner included.
    Helps you build up your database quickly and accurately. You can save time keying in asset numbers.

  • All cables and adapters included.
    Adapters are included such that the equipment will connect to any PC that has standard AT or PS/2 keyboard connections, or 9 or 25 way D serial port connections. You will be able to install straight away - no annoying delays whilst you wait for additional components.

  • Label printing option.
    By adding a label printer you are able to create new labels on demand. You can therefore print asset, user and room numbering formats of your own design. You are able to re-print damaged asset labels at the click of a button. You can issue new labels to temporary staff. Label printer sold separately.
