BCM 3000

External Barcode Module for Laser, Matrix & Ink jet Printers

The Barcode Module (BCM3000) is independent of platform and provides professional barcode and label printing functionality for any system. With both parallel and serial interfaces in the same unit, BCM3000 connects to systems ranging from PCs to mainframes.

Compatible across laser, dot matrix and ink jet printers, ensures that programs developed for one printer can be used to drive others with little or no software revision. Using the Printer Command Extension (PCE) language pioneered by Image, programming is simple - a single command generates a complete barcode.

To make programming even easier the product is supplied with Windows based PCE language generator. Design the barcode or label on screen; the PCE CAD application generates a text file containing all the required PCE commands.

BCM3417

Barcode Module for Printing PDF417 on Laser Printers

Generate PDF417 symbols on labels and documents using the BCM3417. Practically identical to the BCM3000, the BCM3417 enables you to print the PDF417 symbology on standard laser printers.

Encode large amounts of data in a single symbol, or print small barcodes containing more data than traditional linear symbols.

Sometimes referred to as 'Labelling Controllers' the functionality of this family of modules is much the same as the latest in the family, the BCM3000.

Internal units are available for dot matrix printers used in industrial environments where an external module may not be ideal. High speed modules are available for printers including shuttle matrix technology, whilst specific platforms are addressed by our mainframe connectivity modules for Twinax & Coax. In addition, we have experienced demand for network compatible modules for which we have a solution.
